The formula
total = rate × regular hours + rate × multiplier × overtime hours
Overtime is normally paid at a premium multiple of the base rate — time and a half is the most common. Because the premium applies only to the extra hours, a modest amount of overtime raises total pay by proportionally more than it raises hours worked.

Is this before tax?+
